"LandShark Stadium."
In a move worthy of a new chapter in a Jon Spoelstra book, the Miami football stadium has been renamed LandShark Stadium. Jimmy Buffet (he's the one on the left) will play a bunch of concerts in exchange for this giant billboard that hawks his beer brand.
Do I sound bitter? Maybe it's because Mad Greg and I were negotiating a deal to rename the hot dog stands "Mad Gim's Tiki Hut" and re-stock the pickle relish with crushed pineapple. Our idea got jumped by Mr. Fancy Singer Man.
No matter. We'll be over it as soon as we spin a few Jimmy tunes. How can you not love him?
