Neckties in decline
Mad Gringo has a few neckties gathering dust in his closet as well.
I blame no one.

We won't give up until the number goes from 6% to zero!
The smile on the bow tie guys face says it all.
Go slow.

The difference between a sarong and a pareo. . .well, Mad Gringo thinks they are different terms for the same thing. Included are lava lavas, pakomes, kains and cangas.
There could be a more technical answer but Mad Gringo knows that people search for Sarongs and Pareos on Google. A lot.
And I love how they look.
The only thing you can do is "go slow" wearing a sarong or pareo. Or risk an international incident.
Go slow.

Mad Gringo,
I can certainly appreciate your anti-necktie sentiment considering that its origins can be traced back to the 1600’s – directly evolving as a result of war. The mental torture men must go through having that in the back of their mind. Not to mention the health dangers that must keep them up at night – possibility of strangulation, infections and the probability of weakened retinas due to vascular constriction. How depressing?!?
On to more positive thoughts; a question I have been pondering – What is the difference between Pareos and Sarongs? Besides that they not in anyway linked directly or indirectly to the male necktie?

We have seen neckties as skirts:

And neckties as fashion accessories:

Maybe it's time to weave a bunch together and make a hammock support rope? Blindfolds?

Mad Gringo,
I have ties in my closet, too. I think they are breeding in there. We need a creative solution to what to do with this corporate detritus. What do you think?
Keep up the slow work. You are one of us. My thanks to you here:
